    Founder, CEO
    When Jan-Hagen talks about new ideas and possibilities in orthopedic technology, his eyes start to light up. This is how you can imagine the moment when he first told about his MOWA idea. As a trained CPO (Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist), master orthopedic technician and academic expert in neuro-orthopedics, he masters his subject with ease.

  • Dr. Thomas Zehnder

    Founder, Chairman of the Board
    Tom founded MOWA together with Jan-Hagen, and as CFO he oversees the finances. He has been an entrepreneur, investor and manager for many years and knows the healthcare industry like the back of his hand. He has worked for large companies, such as Sulzer Medica, as well as an executive for medtech start-ups, such as IMI Intelligent Medical Implants AG.

  • Matthias Roller

    Global Market Development
    As a trained CPO (Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist) and Master of Science in Neuroorthopedics. Matthias has worked both in the USA and managed international aid projects. His speciality is rehabilitation in general and the development of orthopaedic aids in particular. With these experiences and skills, he leads MOWA on the international stage.

  • Anke Glamann-Kandziora

    Communication, Corporate Language
    Anke is responsible for our communication as an inspiring mouthpiece. Her goal: to bring the MOWA spark to the reader. To achieve this, she draws on her many years of experience as a copywriter, her craftsmanship and her passion for writing.

  • Sebastian Soethe

    IT projects and digital strategy
    Sebastian coordinates the IT projects at MOWA as digital expert. As the interface between software development, orthopaedists and management, he is responsible for the digital strategy and supports all departments with his many years of experience in technical matters.

  • Carsten Förster

    Project Assistant and Quality Manager

    Carsten senses problems before they occur. Then he doesn’t hesitate, but solves them effectively and efficiently. But to prevent problems from developing in the first place, he defines and improves our processes so that everything runs like clockwork. Carsten also has sound experience in quality management and logistics.

  • Manuel Westervelt

    Product Manager

    With a degree in Sports Science and Sports Technology, Manuel brings the best qualifications for his role as Product Manager at MOWA. As point of contact for customer service, product development and external partners, his focus is on the support of the supply centers. At the same time, he contributes to the further development of the MOWA concept in all its facets.

    Industrial Designer
    We owe the cool look of the MOWA orthoses to Stefan's brilliant ideas and his unique sense of trends. He knows like no other how to combine ergonomics and economy to create a product with a wow-effect.

    Board Member
    Marc keeps an eye on the legal transactions and contracts for us. He has been passionately devoted to the topics of law, taxes and asset management for years. He also makes his expertise available as a consultant and lecturer.

  • Philipp Merkt

    Board Member

    When it comes to digitalization, Philipp's heart beats faster. As an IT and finance expert, he is well versed in hardware and software, apps, cloud connections, but also in finance. The business IT specialist made a name for himself early on in the banking sector, where he has long been at home in leading positions as well as in innovation projects. He is Chief Investment Manager and head of asset management solutions at PostFinance AG.
